Offering Customized Gravestones, Granite Headstones and Flat Markers
Did you know that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will provide, at no charge, a headstone for a deceased veteran in any cemetery? The family of the deceased will be able to choose from an upright grave marker that is available in granite or marble or a flat marker that is available in granite, marble, or bronze. Upright grave markers stand vertically at the head of a grave whereas flat markers rest level with the ground or a few inches higher depending on the cemetery. It is important to speak with the cemetery before requesting a grave marker as some private cemeteries have rules about which marker is permitted.
